English shouldn't be holding your career back

Lessons for professionals who need to hold their own in meetings, presentations and emails. We work with your real situations: your emails, your calls and the vocabulary of your industry.

  • Built around your own work material
  • 9am to 9pm, fits around office hours
  • 55-minute lessons by video call
By situation

Where does it get stuck?

Almost nobody needs to improve their English in general. You need it for three or four very specific situations, and that's where the work goes.

Meetings

Meetings and video calls

SPEAKING UP IN TIME

The problem is rarely understanding: it's getting a word in before the topic moves on. We train the quick intervention, not the perfect speech.

What we work on
  • Taking a turn and interrupting politely
  • Giving opinions, qualifying and disagreeing
  • Asking someone to repeat without losing face
  • Closing on agreements and next steps

Goal: contribute to the meeting, not just attend it.

Presenting

Presentations and clients

SPEAKING IN PUBLIC

Presenting in English is the scariest part and, at the same time, the easiest to prepare: the structure can be rehearsed, and so can the hard questions.

What we work on
  • Presentation structure and linking language
  • Presenting data, charts and results
  • Q&A and handling objections

Goal: present without reading off the script.

Writing

Emails and reports

TONE MATTERS

An email translated literally from Spanish comes across as blunt or as unsure. Professional English register has its own rules and they're learned quickly.

What we work on
  • Formal, neutral and friendly register
  • Requests, complaints and follow-ups
  • Summarising without sounding curt
  • Reviewing your own real emails

Goal: write it once, not read it back ten times.

Interviews

Interviews and changing jobs

INTERNATIONAL PROCESSES

An interview in English is prepared like an exam: some questions come up almost every time, and you can walk in with the answers ready.

What we work on
  • The standard questions and how to answer them
  • Telling your career story with impact
  • Talking about salary and terms
  • Full mock interviews

Goal: don't let English be what rules you out.

What not having it costs

English doesn't show up on your CV, it shows up on the invoice

Not speaking it comfortably rarely shows up as a problem. It shows up as opportunities that never get raised in the first place.

You pass English calls to a colleague

Every time you hand an English call to someone else, that client relationship slowly stops being yours.

You stay quiet in meetings

You have the idea, but by the time you've built it in English something else has been decided. Contributing late looks a lot like not contributing.

Your CV is filtered out on language

Roles that would suit you get stopped at the language filter before anyone reads your experience.

You avoid international projects

The projects that get you seen tend to be the ones that cross borders. Ruling yourself out is a decision too, even if it doesn't feel like one.

Your emails sound blunter than you are

Translating literally from Spanish strips out the politeness formulas professional English takes for granted. The content is right, the tone isn't.

You pay the barrier in time

Spending half an hour on an email that would take you three minutes in Spanish, every day of the year, is a real cost even if nobody invoices it.

How we work

With your job, not with a textbook

You set the syllabus: your meetings, your clients and the vocabulary of your industry.

  1. Trial lesson and assessment

30 free minutes to see your real speaking level and, above all, which specific situations trip you up.

  2. We map your situations

What you do in English each week and what you'd like to be able to do: calls, board meetings, one particular client, an interview with a date on it.

  3. Material from your industry

We work with your technical vocabulary and with real documents of yours, not generic office texts that fit anyone.

  4. Rehearsal before the real thing

Thursday's meeting or Monday's interview gets rehearsed here first, awkward questions included.

55-minute lessons

Online by video call, Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm. Fits around office hours.

What's included

What goes into each lesson

Tailored preparation, correction of what you write and rehearsal of what you're going to say. No one-size-fits-all Business English manual.

  • One-to-one lessons

The 55 minutes are yours. Also available as a duo if there are two of you from the same team or at a similar level.

  • Your industry's vocabulary

We build your field's glossary with you, which is exactly the one no generic manual includes.

  • Reviewing your real emails

You bring an email or a report of yours and it comes back corrected, with the reason behind every change of register.

  • Rehearsing meetings and interviews

Role-play of the situation you have coming up, including the questions you'd least like to be asked.

  • Everything saved in your account

Glossaries, corrections and notes stay on the platform so you can review them right before each situation.

Common questions

What people usually ask

With a B1 you'll get a lot out of this track, because there's enough base to work on real situations. If you're below that it's worth starting with general conversation and moving up later, and we'll tell you honestly in the trial lesson.

Yes, and it's the part that makes the biggest difference. The glossary is built from your own documents and situations, whether that's tech, healthcare, manufacturing, sales or administration.

There's time to prepare a good deal. Two or three lessons cover the standard questions, your personal pitch and a full mock interview. It won't change your level in two weeks, but it will change how confidently you answer.

Plenty of students pay themselves and then claim it back or expense it at work. If you need an invoice made out to the company, get in touch before buying the pack and we'll sort it out.

Lessons are booked one at a time from your account, there's no compulsory fixed slot. The week you can't make it, you simply don't book: your credits stay there as long as they're within their validity period.
