FitEnglish may collect and process the following personal data:

- Data related to bookings, schedules, contracted classes, available credits, used credits and credit expiry.

- Payment data processed by Stripe, bearing in mind that FitEnglish does not store full bank card details.

- In the case of students who are minors, data necessary to manage the relationship with their mother, father, guardian or legal representative.

FitEnglish uses personal data for the following purposes:
- Manage the user's registration and access to the platform.
- Manage the contracting of classes, packs and credits.
- Process bookings, schedule changes, cancellations and class attendance.
- Manage payments, credits, expiries and possible incidents related to the service.
- Send communications necessary for the operation of the service, such as booking confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, incidents or information related to the user's account.
- Provide online English classes through platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or other equivalent tools.
- Manage the use of external tools necessary for the service, such as Stripe, Google, Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams or similar services.
- Handle enquiries, requests or complaints sent by the user.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting or administrative obligations.
- Send commercial communications only when the user has given consent or when there is a legal basis that permits it.
4. Legal basis for processing
The processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:
- Performance of a contract: to manage the user's account, bookings, credits, contracted classes and payments.
- User's consent: for voluntary registration, the use of certain tools, the sending of commercial communications where applicable and the possible recording of classes when express authorisation is requested.
- Compliance with legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, administrative or consumer obligations.
- Legitimate interest: to maintain the security of the platform, manage incidents, prevent misuse of the service and carry out necessary communications related to the contracted service.

To provide the service, FitEnglish may use external providers that process personal data on behalf of FitEnglish or as independent controllers, as appropriate.

FitEnglish does not sell users' personal data to third parties.

Some of the providers used by FitEnglish, such as Stripe, Google or Microsoft, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
In such cases, these providers must apply the appropriate safeguards in accordance with the data protection regulations in force, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other legally established mechanisms.
7. Data retention
FitEnglish will retain personal data for as long as the user maintains an active account or for as long as it is necessary to provide the contracted service.
If the user requests the deletion of their account, FitEnglish will delete or block their data within a maximum of 30 days, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it or it is necessary to keep it to address possible legal, tax, accounting or contractual liabilities.
Data related to payments, billing or transactions may be retained for the periods legally required.
8. Recording of classes
Classes will not be recorded without the prior and express consent of the student or, in the case of minors, of their mother, father, guardian or legal representative.
If FitEnglish proposes recording a class for educational, follow-up or review purposes, the purpose of the recording, its intended use and the retention period will be informed beforehand, and the corresponding consent will be requested.
The user may not record classes without the prior and express authorisation of FitEnglish.
9. Minors
In the case of students who are minors, the contracting of the service, registration and acceptance of the terms must be carried out by their mother, father, guardian or legal representative.
FitEnglish will process minors' data only to the extent necessary to provide the contracted educational service and manage communication with the responsible adult.

FitEnglish may contact the user by email, phone, WhatsApp or other means provided by the user to manage bookings, schedule changes, payments, incidents, class reminders or necessary communications related to the service.
Commercial or promotional communications will only be sent when there is user consent or a legal basis that permits it.
